A nose is like a fingerprint: unique, unchangeable. One phone scan proves the pet is yours — a lost or stolen animal can be identified and returned. And at any clinic — the full health history in seconds.
A club, not a SaaS. Heart Members — owners who believe love for a pet has no price.
App already runs in your browser · How it works
Not an app you need to learn. Not a subscription. One nose — for life.
Any phone. 10 seconds. Unique wrinkle patterns — like a fingerprint, unchanging for life.
Digital document with Sigillum signature. PDF for backup. QR for the collar — scan, see the essentials even without registration.
New clinic? Travel abroad? Emergency? Scan the nose — see the full history in 3 seconds.
3 examples show what makes a good photo, and what doesn't. Follow the pattern so the biometric model can accurately recognize the wrinkle structure.
Works directly in browser · no install · iOS + Android
One platform — three perspectives.
One card for one pet for life. Change clinic? Travel? Medical history — with you, not on paper.
Know every pet as if it were your own. Colleagues' notes from other clinics. Full vaccination history. Allergy warnings before prescribing.
Every puppy leaves your kennel with a health passport. The buyer receives a full pedigree + health document, cryptographically signed. Forged pedigree? Impossible.

7 questions that come up most often. If yours isn't here — write to tomas@rupestelis.com.
Heart Member — the first 500 people who register a pet through Rūpestėlis ID. Receives "Heart Member" title on the pet's card + direct line to the Dr. Rupi team. Family-warm, intimate title.
Founding Member — a separate civic-infrastructure membership through the Voluntary Club. For institutions and people who want to participate in shaping the EU pet-identification standard. Two different titles, two different commitments. You can hold both.
The first pet is always free, for life. Second and subsequent pets: one-time payment of €29 (Basic), €49 (Premium Vet-Verified), or €79 (Family pack, up to 3 pets). Not a subscription. Pay once — you have it for the pet's lifetime.
Yes. The veterinarian simply opens id.rupestelis.com/app/ on any phone, taps the camera, scans the pet's nose — the system shows the Rūpestėlis ID + health passport. No app install needed. No training needed. No paperwork from you needed.
All data resides in EU territory (DigitalOcean Frankfurt). Every photo is AES-256 encrypted. The control key — held by the owner, not us. EU GDPR Article 9 special-category-data flow with explicit consent on every capture screen. DPO: Dr. Tomas Margelis Sr.
At any time — a single email to tomas@rupestelis.com saying "cancel". Future obligations are removed. The Sigillum chain entry remains in history (audit chain integrity), but your personal data is erased. No bridge-burning. You can leave quietly or publicly — both options accepted.
The health passport becomes a memorial record — a document of the pet's life that you can preserve, pass on, or encrypt. Through Heritage Protocol you can add historical records (birth date, last day, sentimentally significant moments). New pet in the family? A separate Rūpestėlis ID — the first remains as a memory record.
For dogs — working today.
For cats — Q3 2026 launch (different nose anatomy, separate model).
For horses, sheep, cattle — multi-modal capture (nose + facial markings + gait/fleece patterns) on the Heritage Protocol roadmap. During Founding Period we welcome all species — only dogs are production-ready today.
We are not the chip's enemy. We are its supplement.
From statistics to daily reality.
Belgium 2020, a verified court case: a stolen dog (named Maya) was electronically rechipped to a new owner. The court returned her to the family ONLY after biometric identification — photographs cross-matched against pre-disappearance images — proved identity. The chip was a lie. The biometric was not. This is our flagship verified precedent.
The case, documented in public Belgian court records, exposes a structural problem: when chips and papers are the only proofs of identity, identity can be copied in minutes.
Each year millions of pets disappear or change identity in the European Union. €4.6 billion — that's the scale Europol and EU SCoPAFF have estimated for the illegal puppy trade in recent years.
In the United Kingdom, only 21% of stolen dogs are recovered — compared to 93% of lost ones. The difference comes from paperwork: a chip is replaced in 15 minutes, a pedigree document — in an hour.
A nose — not.
1. An elderly woman in a village. Brings a found cat to the clinic. One nose scan: not a stray, the Petrauskas family's cat from the next village.
2. Veterinary visit. A new owner brings a dog for vaccination. The system shows: chip registered to a different person, missing for 8 months. The clinic halts the procedure.
3. A Lithuanian sheep farmer. 200-head flock. Nose-based ID enables vaccination tracking, identification of stolen sheep, integration with EU insurance.
4. An Estonian kennel. Cross-reference reveals: a "German" pedigree puppy is actually stolen from a Polish kennel.
5. Inheritance. Grandmother's horse's pedigree fixed for 30 years. Sigillum-signed certificate, transferred across generations.
Dr. Tomas Margelis, a veterinarian of 35 years, sees this problem daily in the clinic. Stolen pets. Forged pedigrees. Lost genealogies. Each case — one in a million.
Rūpestėlis ID exists so this arithmetic ends.
"Rūpestėlis ID exists to prove that one person with an AI team can build a product that competes with corporations. This is the future work standard. We are simply first."
